Tollbar BEC 5 – 0 Skegness Grammar

This second round ESFA match was a closer fought battle between two good footballing sides. It was however Tollbar BEC who dominated the first half with four goals (Waiton, Wattam (2) and Ship).

With poor weather conditions both teams found it hard to play the passing game that they were used to although at the Tollbar defence (Garner, Wressel, Vinson and Grant) still found time to pass the ball around keeping the Skegness strikers well out of the game.

The Skegness team came out more determined for their second half which gave the Tollbar squad a lot more work to do. Mr Watson changed the shape of the Tollbar team to cope with the Skegness pressure and this kept the score at 4 – 0. Wattam then added a third goal late in the second half to secure the convincing win taking the boys further on in their ESFA cup run.

Another excellent performance from the year 7 team. Good luck for the next round.
