County Champions

January 15th, 2008

The Under 16 girls are Humberside County Champions at football when they beat Wolfreton School, Hull 3-0 recently.

The goals came from Gemma Charlton, Lisa Cromey and Holly Cornford.

The team is made up of girls from Year 10 and 11 and have been training hard under the watchful eye of Miss Hayday.

The girls now go on to represent Humberside in the National RAF Under 16 Cup and play Bourne Grammar in a match that will be for a place in the last 16 in the country.

When you consider there are over 6000 schools eligible to take part in this competition this is an outstanding achievement.
