ICT

The Information Technology Curriculum Area is staffed with a team of highly skilled and committed specialist teachers, whose aim is to ensure all students are motivated, keen to learn and enjoy the subject.

Schemes of Work are constantly amended and the sharing of ideas plays an integral role in the success of the Curriculum Area. We have common curriculum policies on marking, assessment, Key Stage 3 strategies, ICT, rewards and discipline.

At Key Stage 3 there is one period per week. All Key Stage 3 follow the National Curriculum. At Key Stage Four, year 9 have 2 periods per week and years 10 and 11 have between 2 and 6 lessons per week. All Key Stage 4 study the Diploma in Digital Applications.
