Physical Education:

GCSE and A Level students are involved in planning and then delivering their own coaching sessions to others within the school. As well as making up part of the assessment criteria of their course it gives them the opportunities to work in small groups and develop an effective working relationship. Students are expected to plan sessions ensuring it is fun and exciting while ensuring the safety of all participants. Those involved have delivered exceptional sessions developing both organisational and communication skills during the process.

Throughout the curriculum students are expected to work effectively in groups and teams. Outdoor and Adventurous Activities is taught in both key stages 3 and 4. This involves students working in small groups to overcome various challenges. They are not only expected to communicate in different ways but to also develop trust in each other.
