Tollbar Business and Enterprise College is moving its school meals provision in-house.
Bosses at the school say the move is to upgrade the service and provide local produce.
It will be taken from an unnamed national catering company and given to chef Steve Legg and 17 staff at the school, led by Mandy Davidson.
Mr Legg has owned and run Melanie's in Upgate, Louth, for two years with his wife Aileen.
Between them they have more than 60 years experience in catering and Steve has cooked for The Queen, Princess Anne and the King of Sweden.
