Techo-savvy student at Tollbar Business & Enterprise College (TBEC) have passed an internationally-recognized computer qualification that is usually taught at adults.
An incredible 65 students have been awarded the European Driving License, which is widely regarded by employers as proof of their ability and competence when working with IT.
It equips students with the ICT skills for life required to complete GCSE courses, such as the Diploma In Digital Applications, further education courses such as the International Baccalaureate, or for the immediate workplace.
The course includes word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentations and test entrant's knowledge of legal issues, such as the Data Protection Act, Copyright and the Computer Misuse Act.
More than 300 of Tollbar's Year 8 students are studying level 2, which is the equivalent of a B grade at GCSE.
Jackie Guilliatt, assistant principal and curriculum manager for ICT at Tollbar BEC said: "We are immensely proud of the outstanding achievements of several students who have already passed the course."
"With the dedication of the specialist ICT teachers, all students are on course to finish by the end of the school year."
Harry Dennet(13) and the first student to pass ECDL, said "I am very proud of what I have achieved."
"It was difficult at times and my dad supported me by testing me at home."
"My teacher, Mrs Guilliatt, boosted my confidence."
