Cutting a ribbon watched by other pupils are (from left) Summer Marshall (13) and Sarah Rose (15) from Tollbar BEC, with Blue Cross community fundraiser Julie Donn (right) at the official opening of a new reflection room in the Blue Cross hospital, Grimsby, for pet owners to sit with their animals before they have to leave them to be rehomed or to be put down. Around 750 pupils from the school took part in a sponsored five mile walk in fancy dress around the school field. They raised a grand total of £6,000, half of the amount was donated to St Andrew's Children’s hospice, Grimsby.
