A Waltham school is celebrating after being awarded national recognition for its arts education.
Arts Council England has awarded an Artsmark to Tollbar Business and Enterprise College.
Principal David Hampson said: "Our students have really enjoyed working with a range of artists and art organisations."
"I'd like to thank all our staff for their hard work in achieving this award."
Artsmark is a national award scheme managed by Arts Council England that recognises schools with a high level of provision in the arts.
The award scheme is open to all schools in England – primary, secondary, special schools and pupil referral units, both maintained and independent.
To gain an Artsmark, a school must show its commitment to the wider development of young people and teachers and to raising the profile of the arts in the school and local community.
Since Artsmark began nine years ago, almost 10,000 awards have been made, with 1649 schools receiving one this year.
