An exhibition at a New Waltham school was a delight for both the eyes and ears.
The Sight and Sound evening at the Tollbar Business and Enterprise College showcased the pupils' impressive artistic and musical talent.
A variety of artwork was exhibited in the conference and function centre, with a collection for sale in the newly refurbished Avro Suite. Keen musicians, singers and speakers from the school also performed for guests.
Friend of the school and chairman of the Grimsby, Cleethorpes and District Youth Orchestra, Leo Solomon, officially opened the evening and refurbished room.
"Tonight's opening celebrates the achievements of the creative arts department and the music department during the last five years," he said.
"The creative arts faculty has been awarded the prestigious Artsmark, which recognises the high level of provision in the college."
"The music performed tonight also demonstrated the excellent level of talent and progress being achieved here."
"Sight and Sound is a wonderful example of the multitude of talents possessed by the students of this fine college."
Principal David Hampson said there were around 200 pieces on show. "We have excellent art and music departments which are going from strength to strength," he added.
Tollbar pupil Monica Barnard (12) went along to the exhibition with her father Alan (49). "I really like the textile work on show – the dresses which have been created are great," she said.
Mr Barnard added: "the musicians are incredibly talented."
Pupil Hannah Gordon (12) also went along with her parents Helen and Richard.
"I've really enjoyed the exhibition and performances – they've all been good," Hannah said.
Helen added: "I really like the sepia print of Waltham All Saints" Church and the picture of the wave going over Cleethorpes Pier."
"There are some very talented students here and the work is really impressive."
