Dear Parent/Carer

Key Stage 4 Curriculum Evening - Tuesday 28th April 2009

I am writing to give you advance warning and invite you and your son/daughter to the KS4 Curriculum Evening.

The KS4 Curriculum Evening will take place on Tuesday 28th April 2009 from 6:30 pm initially in the Conference/Drama Halls. I will address you on the structure of the curriculum on offer for your son/daughter in KS4 and then give you the opportunity to ask me questions of a general nature.

After this initial session, I have made both subject and pastoral staff available for you to confer with on specific issues.

Curriculum staff, representing the core and option subjects, will be in the Sixth Form Suite to give particular subject advice regarding your son/daughter's subject choices.

Senior Pastoral staff will be available to give general advice and guidance to you and your son/daughter regarding the likely impact of subject choices on their future academic progress and/or employment prospects.

On the 20 April you will receive detailed information about the curriculum that will be on offer to your son/daughter in the form of a Subject Information Booklet, Curriculum Choice Forms and notification of the time slot allocated to attend the presentation in the Conference/Drama Halls.
