Dear Parent/Carer

Invitation for Grandparents to visit the College on Wednesday 18 November 2009

At Tollbar we feel that grandparents play a very positive and active part in the lives of our students. Therefore we wish to offer grandparents the opportunity to come into College to view our facilities and learning environment. Grandparents will also meet the Head of House who cares for their grandchild within the House system.

Schedule
1:45 pm - Arrive and meet the Head of House in the Avro Hall
2:00pm - Tour of the College facilities
3:10 pm - Refreshments will be available in the Avro Hall.

Year 7 students will be able to join their grandparent/s at 3:10 pm in the Avro Hall if they so wish.

If your son's/daughter's grandparent/s would like to come into the College on the date specified, please complete and return the slip to your son's/daughter's House Tutor by Monday 9 November 2009.

Grandparents should report to the main reception upon arrival. Car parking is available at the back of the College in the playground accessed via the entrance next to the caretaker's house (third entrance from Tollbar roundabout). We look forward to meeting the grandparents of our students at these events.

Please sign your son's/daughter's planner on the College/Home Communications, page 46, to indicate that you have received this letter.
