About Tollbar
Tollbar BEC is the highest performing secondary school in the local authority and one of the highest performing comprehensives nationally. The College has also been awarded HPSS (High Performing Specialist School) status.
At Tollbar every student matters and what we aim to provide for the children and young people in our care can be plainly stated as:

The College is situated in a rural setting on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. People move here, primarily for the quality of life on offer: a real mix of bustling historic market towns, idyllic villages, miles of unspoilt coastline, areas of outstanding natural beauty and one of the greatest cathedral cities in Britain. The area also has a fast growing economy, low unemployment, a healthy environment, low crime rates, health and education facilities of a standard well above the national average and affordable housing.
The area caters for most outdoor activities being ideally situated close to the Lincolnshire Wolds and the coast.
