Tollbar BEC is the most outstanding provider of secondary education in the local area with unprecedented levels of success. The College has been awarded Higher Performing Specialist School status that will lead to the establishment of the College as a Training School. The College received an outstanding Ofsted judgement and its best ever GCSE results with 82% 5+ A*-C including English and Maths placing the College in the top 1% of all secondary schools in terms of value added performance. In 2009 the College successfully launched the International Baccalaureate Programme in the Sixth Form.
This success has come as a result of the dedication and hard work of all staff at Tollbar and a whole team effort to strive for ever improving standards. There is now a unique opportunity to join 'Team Tollbar' owing to the further expansion of this outstanding College.
