Bullying
Bullying of any kind will NOT be tolerated. No-one has the right to make another person unhappy. You should not put up with bullies in your group of friends.

REMEMBER - If you are being bullied or of you see someone else being bullied, report it immediately to a member of staff.
Bullying affects everyone, not just the bullies and the victims. It also affects those other children who watch and less aggressive students can be drawn in by group pressure. Bullying is not an inevitable part of College life or a necessary part of growing up and it rarely sorts itself out. It is clear that certain jokes, insults, intimidating/threatening behaviour, written abuse and violence are to be found in our society.
No one person or group, whether staff or student should have to accept this type of behaviour. Only when issues of bullying are addressed, will a student best be able to benefit from the opportunities available at the College.
The College will not tolerate the act of bullying. It is the responsibility of ALL (parents, staff - including non-teaching staff and students) to report a bullying incident to any member of teaching staff.
We believe that each student has the right to enjoy his or her learning and social time at College and that this should be free from intimidation of any kind. An unkind act or comment, which is intended to hurt an individual, will be called bullying.
