Key Stage 3 (Years 7 & 8)
We follow the QCA guidelines when writing schemes of work. These are constantly amended and up-dated to maintain the Departments interest in new developments in Art and Design. We work to projects which offer an opportunity for students to explore and experiment with varied and diverse media in order to produce final outcomes. Students also look at the history of art and the artwork/design from other cultures in order to enrich and enhance their own studies and artwork.
