KS5 Photography is a popular and successful course, with an excellent level of achievement.
The AS and A2 Sixth Form students are accommodated in a newly refurbished studio/conservatory and have use of ICT facilities linked with a colour printer and scanner. The photography students have recently acquired a new, well equipped studio in the Sixth form area which links with the Art studio. Photography also benefits from its own ICT provision with a newly installed bank of computers, allowing the growth of Digital Imaging. A number of AS Art students went on a study visit to Venice and completed some stunning work towards their AS level exam. The Department runs a visit to the London Galleries annually, to provide the students with the necessary first hand study of Art and artists' work. Other recent visits have included Bradford, Lincoln, Sheffield and Hull Galleries.
