Accommodation and Resources


Geography, History and RE at KS3 and KS4 are taught in a suite of 13 specialist rooms, 7 of which have Interactive White Boards and 5 have projector whiteboards.  A Level teaching takes place in the three Sixth Form Humanities rooms which all have Interactive White Boards.

All Schemes of Work identify the extensive use of ICT and teaching groups have access to a computer suite within the school.

All Geography students have a textbook, supplemented with class sets of other texts and worksheets. There is a good stock of fieldwork equipment available to Sixth Formers. History subject teachers use a variety of class sets and other resources. RE teachers use a variety of textbooks with other resources. Each subject has an extensive video library.

Staffing

The Curriculum Area is fully staffed with a team of 19 specialist teachers.
