Modern Foreign Languages are taught in six rooms within Tollbar Business and Enterprise College. The two language laboratories are equipped with Divace digital facilities and contain 32 computers. Two further rooms have the use of interactive whiteboards and video projectors.

The successful A2 French and German courses are taught in the Sixth Form area and enjoy access to an interactive whiteboard, video projector and PC work stations.  Most 6th Form lessons now take place in a new Interactive Divace Language Laboratory.

The computers run off the main school network, enabling students to save work in their home drive and continue with their studies during personal time in other locations.  All rooms have full access to the Internet and students are encouraged to use it as a research tool to support their learning. ICT is heavily integrated into the teaching of Modern Foreign Languages with the interactive white board being a central focus for many lessons.

Software provision across the school is based on Microsoft Office but the Faculty has also invested in subject specific CD's, which provide students with a stimulating and interactive way to study.
