The course is divided into six modules:
 
Year 12
 
Module One: Anatomy, Physiology and Skill.
 
Module Two: History of Sport.
 
Module Three: Personal Exercise Plan and Skill-based Project/Practical.
 
Year 13
 
Module Four: Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics and Applied Psychology of Sport.
 
Module Five: Philosophy and Sociology of Sport and Comparative Studies.
 
Module Six: Practical Performance in a Competitive Situation and the Theoretical Analysis of Performance.
 
AQA AS/A Level Physical Education and Sports Studies (350 minutes per week).

Extra Curricular Activities
 
6th Form students are encouraged to become involved in as much extra curricular sporting activity as they can.  Teams are run in a variety of sports and success has regularly been achieved on the football field, where the boys have been County Champions for the last two years and regularly reach the final rounds of the ESFA Cup.
 
The year the girl's team reached the quarter finals of the ESFA Cup.
