Both options are part of the AQA Product Design specification. Students complete 3 units in each of the 2 years (As and A2). The As level award has one coursework unit and 2 formal examinations. The A2 level award also has a coursework unit, a terminal examination, and students complete a written product study. These courses are run as under the Sixth Form partnership, and therefore draw some students from Grimsby College. Other Technology related courses, available for Tollbar students, are delivered at the Grimsby College site.
