Contribution To Business and Enterprise Status

Within its day to day teaching, the faculty staff actively try to demonstrate the links between what the students see and do, and what happens within the commercial environment. This helps them to understand implications of design and manufacturing for B & E. We actually have a specific unit that looks historical B & E based issues that lead to the design/development of the “Swatch” brand.

The faculty has actively supported the “Young Enterprise” programme. In particular the successful “Z why not” group, with producing packaging, display stands, sashes, etc. The “Concept” group also used the Laser cutter for production of one of their key product lines, and had assistance for putting their display stand together.
